Jared of Building Bridges presented the initiative at the 2023 Virginia Council for Social Studies Conference in Richmond, Virginia on March 24th. The conference these this year was Our History, Our Story. The attendees and presenters were fortunate to have Dr. Hasam Kwame Jeffries, Ana Edwards, and Kwame Alexander as their keynotes.
This particular conference emphasizes collaboration, and Jared said he made good connections with other state educators, who expressed deep interest in the Building Bridges model.
